Crafting Luxury Hotel Content in Rome, Iceland, and London
2024 was a crazy year at Ether/Awe – and nothing defined that more than our work with Hilton. Reflecting on our journey, we’ve created some truly memorable content. We created high-end video and stills content across the globe, from the grandeur of Rome, to the breathtaking beauty of Iceland, and the vibrant heart of London. Our team has been busy capturing the essence of Hilton’s luxury hotels.

The Start of Our Hilton Partnership: ‘Style of the Stay’ Campaign, Curio Collection
Our Hilton experience began with the ‘Style of the Stay’ campaign. We were tasked with producing captivating video and photography for Hilton’s Curio Collection. We worked with three unique hotels: Aleph Rome in Italy, and the Reykjavik Konsulat and Iceland Parliament Hotels in Iceland. Each location had its own unique character, and our job was to bring these stories to life through motion and stills.
In Rome, we partnered with the award-winning production company Wow Tapes. Together, we tackled the challenge of a quick turnaround. We scouted locations, cast talent, and made sure everything was picture-perfect before our two-day shoot. The result was a cinematic experience that highlighted the elegance of Hilton’s Aleph Rome property.
Then, in Iceland, we swapped Rome’s sunshine for Reykjavik’s stunning beauty. We had the pleasure of working with director Ross Dixon of Third Aspect, who specialises in luxury destination and hospitality content. His expertise helped us capture breathtaking footage of the Reykjavik Konsulat and Iceland Parliament hotels. Thankfully, we managed to avoid frostbite during the shoot!

Working With Hilton to Create Engaging UGC Content: ‘Stay Tours’
After Rome and Iceland, we shifted gears to Hilton’s ‘Stay Tours’ campaign in London. This project focused on creating UGC (user-generated content) style videos from a first-person perspective. Our goal was to make viewers feel like they were right there, without leaving their couch.
We worked closely with Hilton to ensure the content felt personal and immersive. We captured POV shots to give a genuine feel of the hotel experience. The campaign successfully combined our expertise in luxury destination and hospitality content with Hilton’s focus on exceptional guest experiences.

Why We Love Working with Hilton – and What’s Next
Working with Hilton has been a dream come true. Collaborating on their Style of the Stay and Stay Tours campaigns allowed us to showcase our passion for creating luxury destination and hospitality content. We blended storytelling with breathtaking visuals. While Hilton has been a major highlight of our year, we’re excited to bring our experience and creativity to other brands in the luxury destination and hospitality space.
